Esseci (former Palazzo Santa Croce)
THERE ARE
The ESSECI cultural center is not only the new home of the Civic Library, the oldest in Piedmont with over 350,000 volumes, and the 0-18 Library, entirely dedicated to children, teens, and young adults, but also a public space open to the city, capable of welcoming different generations and fostering the creation of new communities. The restoration project has restored Palazzo Santa Croce, in the heart of the city's historic center, to its role as a living urban organism: not just a container, but a historic building once again a protagonist of Cuneo's present and future. Built in the 18th century as a city hospital, Palazzo Santa Croce has been a place dedicated to care for generations. Today, that vocation is renewed through knowledge, memory, relationships, and participation, transforming it into a cultural center serving the community.
Address: Via Santa Maria 11.
