Maestro Andrea Oddone

An Italian conductor, Andrea Oddone studied with Giorgio Colombo Taccani, Marco Zuccarini, Gianluigi Gelmetti, and Jan Cober, earning honors in composition and conducting, among other qualifications. He subsequently pursued advanced training in Italy and abroad.

He has been a regular guest with the Milan Symphony Orchestra since 2015 and has frequently conducted ensembles such as the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, the Abruzzese Symphony Orchestra, the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Donetsk National Philharmonic Orchestra "S. Prokofiev." He has accompanied numerous soloists, including Francesca Dego, Andrea Bacchetti, Fabio Armiliato, Martina Consonni, Masha Diatchenko, and Teo Gertler.

He has also collaborated with notable figures in the world of culture and communications, such as David Riondino, Marino Bartoletti, Telmo Pievani, Gianni Canova, and Angelo Crespi. He has worked as a preparatory maestro with Claus Peter Flor, Thomas Guggeis, Alondra de la Parra, and Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. He has conducted numerous editions of the "Concerto Sinfonico di Ferragosto" with the Cuneo Symphony Orchestra, broadcast on Rai3.

B. Bruni Orchestra

The Bartolomeo Bruni Orchestra of the city of Cuneo, founded in 1953 by Maestro Giovanni Mosca, its founder and director for over 50 years, is one of the most significant musical ensembles in the Piedmontese cultural landscape. Born with the aim of promoting and disseminating symphonic and chamber music, the Orchestra is distinguished by the high artistic level of its musicians and its carefully curated programming, combining the great classical repertoire with contemporary offerings and innovative projects.

His vast repertoire, spanning chamber, symphonic, operatic, and symphonic-choral music, spans from the Baroque to the twentieth century, and also includes film music, singer-songwriter music, and jazz. He collaborates regularly with internationally renowned instrumentalists, singers, and conductors.

The flagship of its activity is the “Bruni d'autunno” musical season, which since 2012 has offered Cuneo the opportunity to hear the most beautiful pieces of the great symphonic and lyrical repertoire live, also performed by guest ensembles.

A now regular event in its activity is the very famous “Ferragosto Symphonic Concert”, which promotes the cultural and tourist image of the Cuneo area in Italy and around the world, being broadcast live on Rai 3 also in many foreign countries.

Its contribution to music education is also significant, which it implements with the OrchestraNoi project, aimed at all primary schools in Cuneo, and its work on behalf of vulnerable groups. It places particular emphasis on educating the public and young people through educational activities, school concerts, and music outreach initiatives.
