From September 26 to November 15, 2026, the Esseci Cultural Center at Palazzo Santa Croce will host Marco Sasia's photography exhibition, "Anatomy of a Gaze. Inside the Soul of the Hospital." The exhibition will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday and Monday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is free.
The exhibition was conceived as a sign of gratitude to the more than 3,200 people who make up the community of Santa Croce e Carle Hospital: women and men who, with expertise, dedication, and sensitivity, make care a profoundly human experience. For over six months, photographer Marco Sasia wandered through wards, corridors, and workspaces, collecting more than six thousand images. His shots convey the discreet beauty of hands that support, gazes that reassure, and presences that embrace fragility.
