Spaces for age groups

The 0-18 Library offers new, diversified spaces for each age group, also thanks to the graphic customization of the award-winning illustrator Chris Haughton.

The 0-5 section features playmats, tables, and chairs designed specifically for children, allowing them to experience reading as a game and a time to share with parents, as well as learning the basic rules of library etiquette. The section also features a space for animated readings, shows, and workshops, as well as a relaxation corner for parents, where they can read and catch up on information while their little ones are busy with their work.

As children grow, their needs change, and so do their spaces. In the areas for children aged 6-10 and 11-14, not only are the books different, but also the environments, with research spaces, comfortable seating, nooks for leisure reading, and large tables for group work. Thus, the area for children aged 14-18 features a design more in tune with the tastes of young adults, and features spaces dedicated to individual and group study, leisure reading, relaxation, and workshops, equipped with all the necessary technological aids: PCs, tablets, e-readers, and Wi-Fi.
