INTROITUS – HONOR OF ELSEWHERE – SIGNS, DISCARDED SIMULACRAS

The group exhibition "Omens of Elsewhere. Signs, Wastes, Simulacri" is presented to the public as an "introit," the first event organized by grandArte as part of the "OMG – grandArte 2025-2026 – The Boundaries of the Sacred" series, which will feature a representative series of other art exhibitions in numerous locations throughout the province throughout 2025-2026.
The five artists invited to Palazzo Santa Croce in Cuneo are recognized figures on the contemporary art scene, hailing from Turin (Silvia Fubini and Ornella Rovera), the province of Alessandria (Marina Buratti), Vercelli (Carla Crosio), and Genoa (Carla Iacono).
"Let's always stay tuned, right to the end," writes Sergio Givone near the end of his essay entitled Reasonable Hope. How Philosophers Have Thought of the Afterlife (Solferino, 2025). And this is what we will try to achieve with the new series of grandArte 2025-2026 exhibitions: giving voice to the artists who will participate with their meditations in the form of images elaborated through the most diverse expressive techniques (from painting to photography and from sculpture to object installations).
