The Cipolline are by far the most beloved football team among young readers. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of "Kick-Off," the book that launched the series: let's celebrate with its creator, Luigi Garlando! A meeting for girls and boys, ages 7 and up.

Luigi Garlando,
a leading figure at the Gazzetta dello Sport, is the author of successful books for adults and children, and has always been keen to tell young people the stories of figures who have left their mark. " For This Is My Name Giovanni" (BUR), about the life of Giovanni Falcone, is one of the most widely read books in Italian schools. In addition to the successful Gol! series, with Battello a Vapore he has published Mister Napoleone, My Dad Writes the War, When I Grow Up I'll Be a Footballer, and Life Is a Bomb! In 2017, he won the Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi Prize with "The Summer I Met Che" (Rizzoli). Among his latest successes are " Go to Hell, Dante!"and " We Are Like Sparks" (Rizzoli).
