Sunday 27 September, 11am – ESSECI, Auditorium

Andrea is 13, sensitive, and solitary, and has just moved to a big city with his mother after leaving the small seaside town where he grew up. He has no memory of his father, who died when he was still a baby. During the move, he secretly steals a drawer from his mother's desk and discovers an unpublished manuscript written by his father: a novel about the Odyssey. Andrea immediately recognizes himself in those pages, because his new school is a battlefield, bullies target him, and loneliness seems to swallow him up. Until an extraordinary encounter changes everything... Andrea Maggi presents the book Io sono nessuno (Giunti Editore, 2026) in conversation with Michela Ferrero. Edited by scrittorincittà.

Andrea Maggi teaches literature in Pordenone and is also known on screen as "the Professor" in Il Collegio, a Rai Due docu-reality show. For children, he has written the novel Guerra ai prof! (War on the teachers!) and the essay Educhiamoli alle regole (Teach them to the rules). It has been translated into Spanish and Latin American languages. He has a following of over 400,000.
