Information

The Civic Museum of Cuneo, originally located in Palazzo Audiffredi in via Cacciatori delle Alpi, was transferred and relocated around 1980 to its current location in the monumental complex of San Francesco.

The museum's internal routes wind from the oldest prehistoric remains to those of the modern age, telling visitors the history of the area.

The Museum houses a rich specialist library, updated on all topics relating to cultural heritage.

Topographical, cartographic and photographic archives are available to the public, including the Vacchetta Collection and the Scoffone Collection.

Library and Historical Archive consultations by appointment.

Civic Museums Service Charter

The Service Charter of the Civic Museums of the Municipality of Cuneo concerns the two municipally owned city museums: the Monumental Complex of San Francesco – Civic Museum of Cuneo and the Casa Galimberti Museum. The Service Charter is a communication tool between the Municipality of Cuneo and its citizens and protects the latter's rights as museum users.
