All children, teenagers, and young adults can join the library for free  . A minor's written permission (or physical presence) is required to enroll . The same applies to signing up to use the internet browsing service. The authorization form can be downloaded here .

Once registered, all services are free, except photocopying of books and printing of documents from the computer.

The library is intended for children, teenagers, and young adults, from birth to nineteen years of age. From the age of fourteen, anyone who wishes can also become a user of the adult library at Via Cacciatori delle Alpi 9.

Children , except for the workshops for which they are regularly registered, must not be left unsupervised . Adults may access the 0-18 Library only if accompanying individual children or a class group.

Each cardholder can borrow four booksfor 30 days and two audiovisual materialsfor seven days. Families will be asked to replace any lost or severely damaged materials.

Latecomers will be suspended  from service for a period proportional to their  delay (but will be able to continue using other library services).

For each teacher  card that borrows books for their class  , they can borrow, for one month, as many books as there are students in the class, up to a maximum of 30.

If you arrive on time and there are no other users' reservations, the loan period can be renewed for an additional 30 days. Only one renewal: after the renewal deadline, the books must be returned to the library, where the librarian will check their condition and, if not requested by another user, they can be taken back for a new loan. Renewals can be requested at the counter, by phone, or by email.

Telephone renewal is active at 0171.444.656, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm.

You can also request renewal by email, writing to bibliotecazerodiciotto@comune.cuneo.it.

The reservation service for books on loan is active (up to 4 reservations can be made per card)

Entering a reservation blocks the renewal option for the active loan.

You will be notified via SMS when the volume is returned .

At the library entrance, a return box for both books and audiovisual materials. The system, equipped with security features to prevent theft and liquid spills, is under video surveillance.

In the library, in collaboration with ABL Amici delle Biblioteche e della Lettura ODV , two reading groups are active :

  • FREE-MIND, for girls and boys aged 11 to 13
  • SIMPLY READERS, for girls and boys aged 14 to 18

Participation in reading groups is free. We meet to discuss books. We don't read together, but we exchange impressions, emotions, and literary recommendations. You can choose a topic, an author, or chat about the latest books you've read. And together, we participate in literary activities.

Anyone interested in participating can register by clicking here.
