Readers on the move • One library, many ways to read

A library isn't just made up of books. It's made up, above all, of people: those who read late at night, those who borrow a novel every week, those who study in the library, those who come out of curiosity, those who always return to the same authors, and those who never know what to choose without a recommendation.

In September, the Cuneo Civic Library will move to its new home within ESSECI, the city's future major cultural center. To celebrate this important transition, we invite all residents to participate in "Readers on the Road," a festive parade that, at 5:30 pm on September 26, will symbolically accompany books and readers from the old building to the new one.

A parade of groups of "typical readers": the Night Owls, the Hungry, the Commuters, the Faithful, the Curious, the Aesthetes, and many more. Because there are many ways to read, but the library community is one.

And you, what kind of reader are you?

Choose the category you most identify with, sign up for the parade, and come walk with us toward the new library, marching alongside other readers and accompanying the latest titles that will be moving home that day.

Readers of all ages, families, reading groups, students, the curious, and regulars: there's room for everyone.

We look forward to writing the first chapter of this new story together. Proud to BE THERE.
