Making a Film • Film Writing Workshop with Manlio Castagna
Thursday, June 18, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm • Palazzo Santa Croce (via Santa Croce 6, Cuneo)
An intensive film writing for kids and young adults under 25 (aged 15 and up), designed to offer a first hands-on approach to working on film text. Over the course of three hours, Manlio Castagna will guide us through the transformation of a simple idea into a short film scene.
Through practical examples and short exercises, we will work on the essential steps: identifying a conflict, building a situation, giving shape to characters and dialogues, understanding how cinema tells a story through actions and images.
Immediate tools to stimulate a more conscious look at the creative process that leads from word to scene.
