Library 0-18 Born to Read

Born to read

Loving reading through a gesture of love: an adult reading a story. This is the heart of Born to Read.

The NpL project promotes reading aloud to children aged between 6 months and 5 years and is promoted by the alliance between librarians, health, educational and social structures for early childhood.

Born to Read in Cuneo is developed thanks to the initiative of the Civic Library in collaboration with the Cuneo Library System, the Santa Croce and Carle Hospital Health Authority, the ASL CN-1, general practitioners, nurseries, early childhood schools and other structures that accompany children and their parents from the first year of life.

Since 2022, Nati per Leggere Cuneo has been part of Cultura 0/6: crescere con cura (Culture 0/6: growing with care) , a cultural welfare  project that includes Nati con la Cultura, Sistema Infanzia, and Compagnia Il Melarancio. The underlying idea is that beauty is good for you and unites you, and experiencing beauty together creates important bonds and gives rise to lasting memories.
