Monviso Cinema - Accessibility
The Monviso Cinema aims to be a welcoming and enjoyable place for its audience. Below is an overview of the services designed to ensure everyone has the best possible experience.
Structural accessibility
Room features and accessible seats
The Monviso cinema is a single-screen theater with seats arranged on steps.
The entrance can be reached directly from the sidewalk.
Upon entering, on the ground floor, you will find:
- the ticket office, where you can ask the service staff for information;
- the toilets;
- an area with low sensory stimulation where, in agreement with the staff, it is possible to stop if necessary;
- the elevator, for those who have difficulty using the stairs, which allows you to reach the viewing room.
In the hall, there are two seats reserved for wheelchair users, located in the center of the main corridor (row L, seats 6 and 7) and accessible via an obstacle-free path.
For staff, access to the stage is guaranteed by a dedicated elevator (which can be used with the assistance of service staff) and a ramp.
Near the Monviso Cinema, there are two parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities: one is located on Via XX Settembre, a few meters before the theater entrance, while the second is located on Largo Giovanni Barale, on the corner of Via XX Settembre. Both parking spaces offer unobstructed access to the sidewalk, which leads via a ramp to the cinema entrance.
Access to the experience
The Monviso Cinema hosts two main categories of events: the film program curated by the Municipality of Cuneo; and initiatives organized by third-party entities that have concessions for the theater.
Film programming
The Municipality of Cuneo maintains a weekly film program, screening films of high socio-cultural interest. Wednesdays are usually closed. For several years, the Monviso Cinema has been recognized as an arthouse cinema.

SPECTATORS WITH WHEELCHAIRS
Two seats are available for spectators in wheelchairs.
Tickets can be purchased, subject to availability, on the day of the screening:
– at the Cinema box office, located on the ground floor, starting 30 minutes before the screening;
– online* on the Vivaticket starting at 9:00 am.
Dedicated rates
Wheelchair spaces: reduced ticket.
Disability card holders: reduced ticket.
Companion: free in case of disability with certified companion.
NB: Online sales do not include reduced/free tickets.
* Online purchases are subject to a 10% service charge, with a minimum of €1.50 , which will be added to the ticket price.
Events organized by third parties
