Cuneo Civic Museum Sacred Art

The Sacred Art Section

Dating between the 17th and 18th centuries, it contains works that testify to religious devotion, not only private but also linked to societies and associations (documented by court insignia) and to the culture of the religious orders present in the city. Noteworthy are the altarpiece of the Presentation at the Temple and the panels with the Stories of Saint Anthony of Padua by the Chivasso painter Defendente Ferrari, active in Piedmont from 1509 to 1535.
