The future ruling class doesn't know that the world they will govern is on the brink of collapse. They're learning grammar, English, and the names of cities that may no longer exist in a few years. They're most likely unfamiliar with telephones with wires or buttons, have hopped on several airplanes in their early years, and still don't know that many of the challenges of the future will weigh heavily on their shoulders. Or perhaps they have an inkling.

Born from a long process of listening and collecting testimonies, Caterina Marino's show transforms the authentic words of children into an ironic, poetic, and surprisingly lucid theatrical tale, remaining faithful to the freshness of their perspectives on the world.
