A dark comedy set in a small fishing village in the 1990s, Carrozzeria Orfeo's new production is a poetic and tragicomic investigation of the contemporary human condition. In a remote place, three women from different generations, united by a tragic loss that occurred twenty years earlier and shrouded in mystery, each in their own way rejects the labels imposed by society. Through sharp dialogue, paradoxical situations, and moments of intense lyricism alternating with irreverent comedy, Measuring the Frog's Leap constructs a tale in which the gravity of grief coexists with the lightness of irony: an invitation to confront one's own limitations and to seek beauty in small acts of transformation, even where nothing seems to happen.
