If I Can't Dance... It's Not My Revolution brings to the stage the collaboration between Serena Dandini, who inspired the show, Lella Costa, and director Serena Sinigaglia, giving voice to extraordinary women who changed history, yet who still receive the recognition they deserve. Scientists, artists, activists, inventors, and pioneers: from Marie Curie to Tina Anselmi, from Olympe de Gouges to Pina Bausch, from Emily Dickinson to Ilaria Alpi. Through a brilliant and passionate narrative, Lella Costa evokes them one after another with irony, energy, and empathy, composing a mosaic of talent and courage. A theatrical tribute to women who blazed new trails, yet who still remain marginalized in memory and history books.
