Visit to the museum

A tour of the museum includes a detailed exploration of Duccio Galimberti and the historical context of his experience, both nationally and locally. The tour can be combined with the Memory Path.


Memory Course

Cuneo at war. A visit to the city, a journey through history

The visit to the Casa Targetta, supported by photographs and documents, and the in-depth study of Duccio Galimberti, a key figure in the Cuneo Resistance, is followed by a physical tour of the streets of Cuneo to rediscover the fascist and wartime vestiges still present in the city. The tour also includes narration and commentary on the locations, including period images.

Recommended course for lower and upper secondary schools.


Family Memories

An in-depth study of theGalimberti archives, with the opportunity to consult documents, photographs, letters, and other original materials belonging to the family, to reconstruct aspects of their personal and social history. This practical course aims to develop historical research skills and enhance the documentary heritage held in the archive, while gaining a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural context in which the family developed.


In-depth analysis of resistance themes

In collaboration with the Historical Institute of the Resistance, it can be combined with a visit to the Casa Galimberti Museum and, possibly, a Memory Trail.

It is possible to arrange, at the same time, according to the availability of the various institutes, a visit to the Casa Galimberti Museum, to the figure of Duccio and his family, combining it with an in-depth study on the themes of the Resistance carried out in collaboration with theHistorical Institute of the Resistance.

At the end of the museum visit, you can compare and challenge each other on what you have learned with games such as multiple choice questions, taboo questions, and Pictionary.
