As part of the exhibition "Visioni del Sacro," hosted at Palazzo Samone in Cuneo, a special creative participation event open to the public will be held on Saturday, November 14th. The volume collects six hundred and thirty-one questions articulated in eleven emotional contexts, presenting questions not as a frantic search for immediate answers, but as a valuable tool for listening, connecting, and navigating complexity. The performance will take place in shifts, with scheduled entrances between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Participation in the event is free, but reservations are required by phone or WhatsApp to confirm your entrance time.

Deeply aligned with the exhibition's themes, the Palestra di Teatro, directed by Elisa Dani, together with students from the Boves Music Institute and the "G. Mosca" Music Institute, has chosen to explore a specific chapter of the text, entitled "The Tub of Time," to create an intimate, immersive, traveling artistic performance. Student actors and accompanying musicians will lead small groups of visitors through the exhibition rooms, transforming the book's words into a shared sensory experience.

The exhibition offers a collaborative reflection on the multiple meanings of the sacred in contemporary times, enriched by a moving tribute to the artist Gemma Asteggiano and enhanced by collateral events.

The eighteen artistsparticipating in the collective exhibition of the Magau group (formed in 2003 as the Associazione Artistico Culturale Magau Onlus, under the guidance of its first president, psychotherapist Luciano Jolly, which dissolved in 2021) and hail from the towns of Cuneo, Bernezzo, Boves, Caraglio, Dronero, and Villar San Costanzo. They presented an updated or representative selection of paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works inspired by the theme of the Sacred in contemporary reality. It should be noted that the Association's logo, designed by artist Carlo Cavallo, dates back to 2005. It combines a distinctive iconic symbol with the name 'Magau' proposed by Saluzzo artist Lorenzo Griotti. The term derives from the Piedmontese dialect and refers to an ancient farming tool, used to clear the land in preparation for sowing and harvesting. The association has adopted it as a metaphor for its intentions of operational transparency and critical attention to its historical time. Now, the friends of Magau are back in full force for the new exhibition promoted by grandArte at Palazzo Samone in Cuneo. Each artist in the group reflected, in their own way, using different artistic techniques and expressive languages, on the multiple meanings the term "sacred" can have in our contemporary world. The exhibition also included several paintings by Gemma Asteggiano, a recently deceased artist, kindly lent by her husband, Giuseppe Ferrero, as a fitting tribute and a moving tribute to her.
