PLAN

Wednesday, October 21, 9:00 PM – Rondò dei Talenti. An educational meeting in collaboration with Limes and Europe Direct, Cuneo, Piedmont, Southwest.
With Agnese Rossi and Roger Anton Calvello, geopolitical analysts at Limes.
In a world marked by wars, conflicts, and new rivalries between powers, Europe is being called upon to question its role and its ability to influence international balances. A continent of diverse cultures, identities, and traditions, but also of a shared heritage: how much does culture still matter in the face of the geopolitics of force? Book here.

Thursday, October 22, 6:30 pm – Talent Roundtable. With Marina Lalovic and Veronica Fernandes, journalists from the RaiNews24 Foreign Affairs editorial team. Being of foreign origin and working in Italian contexts: what impact does journalistic diversity have on the information system, and to what extent? Diversity as an added value, but also as an aspect that isn't always easy for those who watch us on TV or listen to us on the radio. A diverse cultural context is a strength for journalists, but often also a barrier that's difficult to break. Book here.

Thursday, October 22, 9:00 PM – Rondò dei Talenti. An educational meeting in collaboration with Limes. With Federico Petroni, geopolitical analyst for Limes, and Marco Bardazzi, Italian journalist and writer. The midterm elections in the United States are an opportunity for an initial assessment of the Trump presidency. To what extent has he betrayed and kept his campaign promises? To what extent does the popular mandate that brought him back to power with the mission of overthrowing the system still hold true? Why has Trump deepened, not resolved, the strategic and social crisis into which America has fallen. Book here.

Friday, October 23, 6:30 pm – Rondò dei Talenti with Ilaria Albano, psychologist and science communicator. Rudeness is accepting the complexity of the world and relationships; it's acknowledging what has happened and letting it go, without dwelling on the imperative to forgive at all costs. Rudeness is demanding respect, but at the same time respecting the limits and needs of others. Rudeness is taking responsibility and trying to do what we enjoy, without demanding perfection from ourselves or others. Book here.

Friday, October 23, 9:00 PM – Talent Roundtable with Giuseppe Antonelli. Once upon a time, there were handwritten letters. Then came emails, and then text messages, chats, posts, and voicemails. Today, we communicate with artificial intelligence. In just over thirty years, our way of communicating has changed radically. And with it, the Italian language, a living language that today stands up well to technological pressure. Book here.

Saturday, October 24, 6:30 PM – VARCO Space. With Sabrina Mugnos, science communicator. The universe deceives us. Its mysteries and wonders are only apparently solid and tangible; instead, they resemble a sort of hologram projected by our senses, hovering between the world of the infinitely large, described by Einstein's Relativity, and the infinitely small of quantum physics. Book here.

Saturday, October 24, 9:00 PM – Spazio VARCO. “Corvino Produzioni” presents a show by and with Federico Palmaroli. #lepiubellefrasidiosho is the social media hashtag where Federico Palmaroli weaves stinging and amusing surreal situations. Decontextualizing images, captured from the media flow through original cuts, Palmaroli attributes irreverent quips to their eminent protagonists. These are irresistible roundups of figures from politics, customs, sports, and spirituality who express themselves with “street” language and whose very opposites trigger utterly hilarious reactions. Book here.

Sunday, October 25, 3:30 PM – Spazio Incontri CRC by and with Lucio Bigi "Woquini." A meeting to play with words, including puzzles, word games, and word games. After a brief introduction, the event gets into the swing of things with a series of games and challenges based on various gameplay mechanics, with a few in-depth explanations where appropriate. The audience will be the focus: everyone can participate, test themselves, and contribute to the fun. Book here.

Sunday, October 25, 4:00 PM – Rondò dei Talenti by and with ARMANDO TRAVERSO. A family-friendly performance where adults and children become part of the story and actively participate in its narration through sound. Together, they will create a true soundscape, made of realistic and imaginary sounds: the clip-clopping of a horse's hooves, an approaching storm, furtive footsteps, mysterious noises, and much more. Book here.

Sunday, October 25, 6:30 pm – Rondò dei Talenti. “Corvino Produzioni” presents a show by and featuring BENEDETTA COLOMBO, “Artefacile.” A million dollars for a golden toilet, $120,000 for a banana taped to the wall: madness or genius? Is contemporary art really just a big bluff for rich eccentrics, or is there something more complex behind the sensational headlines and astronomical figures? Book here.
