From Wednesday, July 1st to Sunday, July 5th, the Rondò dei Talenti in Cuneo offers four evenings of music, visual theater, and cinema to get into the spirit of the third edition of the Education Festival, scheduled from Wednesday, July 8th to Saturday, July 11th.
The "Aspettando A tutto tondo" program will open on Wednesday, July 1st at 8:30 pm in the square in front of the Rondò dei Talenti with a concert by the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano, directed by Margherita Gamberini. This choir, composed of boys and girls aged 4 to 12, is among the most renowned in the world. Founded in 1963 by Mariele Ventre with the aim of introducing children to music by emphasizing its educational and didactic value, the choir will perform songs from the Zecchino d'Oro festival, along with international covers and Italian classics.
On Saturday the 4th, at 9:30 pm, it's time for designed theater with Gek Tessaro and his Peter and the Wolf, the most contemporary reworking of Prokofiev's classic. Tessaro ideally takes up the baton from the great Russian composer, staging a story rich in movement, music, and color, emphasizing childhood's connection with the natural world and its genuine rejection of war and cruelty.
The programme includes other evening events: thanks to the collaboration with AIACE Turin, two cinema evenings, starting at 9.30pm: Friday 3 School of Life, a documentary by Giuseppe Marco Albano (2025), and Sunday 5 The Straight Story. A true story by David Lynch (1999).
