Spring Concert of the Bartolomeo Bruni Orchestra
On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 9:00 PM, the string ensemble of the Bartolomeo Bruni Orchestra of the City of Cuneo, conducted by Maestro Marco Buccolo, will present an engaging late Romantic program for the Spring Concert.
The concert will open with Josef Suk's Serenade, Op. 6; a delicately lyrical work in which a melancholic streak anticipates the Czech composer's late Romantic sensibility.
This will be followed by Max Reger's Andante lirico, a short piece from the early twentieth century, which reveals the German composer's ability to blend Bachian counterpoint with Romantic cantability in a thoughtful and contemplative atmosphere.
The evening closes with Nino Rota's Concerto for Strings (1965), in which the celebrated Italian composer, also known for his film scores, alternates moments of lightheartedness, irony, and splendid cantability.
Admission to the concert is €10, with a reduced price of €1 for children under 14.
Tickets can be purchased on the evening of the concert from 8:15 PM or in advance on the SiTickets.
