Simona – Story of a Bumblebee
Simona is a bumblebee, or rather, a female bumblebee. She used to fly like the others, but one day, after being deemed "too big to fly," she stops being able to. Thus begins a journey of self-discovery. In the meadow, she meets new friends—Rombo the bumblebee, a Talking Cricket, Guala the cicada, and other insects—who welcome her and try to help her. This short story encompasses profound themes: the importance of the ecosystem, the fragile balance of nature threatened by humans, but also the mechanisms of cognitive biases, which lead to misjudgments and prejudices. Through references to classic fairy tales such as The Ant and the Grasshopper, Pinocchio, and The Ugly Duckling, the show becomes a tale of identity and acceptance, where limitations often exist only in the eyes of the beholder.
