Monday, September 29th marks the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of the city of Cuneo.
The name Michael derives from a Hebrew expression meaning "Who is like God?" The Archangel Michael is remembered for defending faith in God against the hordes of Satan: commander of the celestial armies alongside Lucifer, he later separated from him and his hosts, who distanced themselves from God and fell into the underworld. Depicted in the form of a warrior, he carries a sword and is often depicted fighting a dragon. Venerated as the patron saint of numerous Italian cities for his warrior and defensive virtues, in 1949 Pope Pius XII proclaimed him patron of the State Police.

I'm a tree, not a newspaper editor. I don't keep a diary, I don't write news, and yet memories and encounters remain within me. Hanging from the branches like leaves, suggestions, noises, and voices that shape bodies and figures. If I could close my eyes, I'd like to gather them into a dream, giving shape to certain events that, more than others, have remained engraved in my bark.
Gek Tessaro uses his drawn theatre to tell the story of The Tree of One Hundred Horses (Lapis).
