Reading and being read to between ages 0 and 3: what are the main publishing trends, and how can we recognize quality criteria? What questions should we ask about the relationship between adults and children, both within and beyond the realm of shared reading?
The most beautiful illustrated books for 3-6 year olds: what are the most beautiful publications for children aged 3 to 6 and what resources do they offer in the relationship between childhood, adults and the worlds of paper?
Reading aloud as a relational practice: a theoretical and practical meeting. What are the ideal qualities of a good storyteller? How can we choose what to read to whom? How can we immerse ourselves in the act of reading with our voice and body, to best "flow" with the stories and what is happening in the here and now? The first part of the meeting will focus on the skills of adults reading aloud to children and young people, before moving on to a workshop session of practical exercises and games.
This course is intended for parents, teachers, educators, librarians, and library volunteers.
How to participate: Free course; registration is valid for the entire three-session series. Open to residents of the Province of Cuneo.
