PARENTS AND ADULT CHILDREN Understanding difficulties, rediscovering dialogue
Three free sessions dedicated to the relationship between parents and adult children, to understand relational difficulties, address conflicts, and rebuild family dialogue. This is the program promoted by the IV COMANDAMENTO FOUNDATION, Ernesto and Maria Saffirio Ets, entitled "Parents and Adult Children. Understanding Difficulties, Restoring Dialogue," scheduled for
the Foundation's headquarters at Corso Annibale Santorre di Santarosa 28 in Cuneo.
The series of sessions will begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, with the first session dedicated to family mediation, led by Dr. Patrizia Valsecchi, sociologist and family mediator.
The session will focus on changing families and new conflicts, tools for managing tensions, and listening and discussion techniques.
The second session, scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, will focus on legal aspects, with presentations by attorneys Fabiana Negro and Antonio Piazza. The legal aspects of parental guardianship, both personal and financial, will be explored in depth.
The program will conclude on Monday, May 25, 2026, with the third psychoeducational meeting, led by Dr. Maria Chiara Restori, a clinical pedagogue, and Dr. Elisabetta Bedino, a psychologist and psychotherapist. The focus will be on changes in relationships with adult and
adolescent children, the dynamics of communication and conflict, and strategies for fostering dialogue.
The goal of the initiative is to provide a space for listening and reflection, helping participants identify effective communication methods in managing family conflicts.
