Living Room and Connecting Worlds 2026

LIVING ROOM and CONNECTING WORLDS, the two events that bring contemporary art to Cuneo, are back.

For the 2026 edition of the LIVING ROOM artistic residency, four artists—Matteo Attruia, Federica Di Carlo, Giulia Poppi, and Lihi Turjeman—have embarked on a journey of discovery through the Cuneo area and have been invited to reflect on the theme of "eutopias" and "forcing utopias" to bring ideal and fantastic visions to life.
The works, created following the residency, are exhibited in four key locations in Cuneo's historic center: the new Esseci Library, the GF Ghedini Conservatory, the Diocesan Museum, and the Toselli Theater.
Together with the contributions of researchers Elisa Piras and Jenny Ufer of the Center for Advanced Studies – Eurac Research, the installations invite viewers to realize that small utopias can create a new, desirable and desirable reality.

CONNECTING WORLDS, on the other hand, takes shape in public spaces, in direct contact with people, inside the Ferrino 1870 tent, set up in Largo Audiffredi, and at the Infopoint of the Gesso and Stura River Park.
For the 2026 edition, works by national and international artists, along with contributions from the world of research, bear witness to climate devastation, propose healing scenarios, and guide us toward a concept of rebalancing with nature.

During the event's opening days, the Gesso and Stura River Park team, together with the ITUR cooperative, will be bringing "Potamòi. Bring Change to the Surface" to Largo Audiffredi. The new collaborative game was created by the Gesso and Stura River Park to stimulate critical reflection on climate change, particularly water resources.
