Cultural Encounters – Keith Haring and Street Art
The Cultural Meetings at the Grand Bar, in Corso Nizza 43 in Cuneo, this time look at the so-called art of the streets, known as street art, its evolution and some of its best-known artists, in particular Keith Haring and Banksy. The meeting will be on Wednesday 18 February, again at 6 pm.
When art took to the streets, it transformed the way we perceive and experience everyday spaces, often revolutionizing the social and cultural realities of cities. The evening will be a journey through the history of street art, with a special focus on the celebrated American artist Keith Haring, but more contemporary figures like the mysterious Banksy will also be explored.
As always, participation in the meeting is free; participants are invited to enjoy a drink as a token of their appreciation for the hospitality.
