Gramsci's thought to shape a different world

USB Scuola is organizing a discussion in Cuneo on Wednesday, December 17 (5-7 pm) on the relevance of Gramsci's thought in education, starting with the book "Educating in the Great and Terrible World" (PGreco Edizioni), an anthology of Gramsci's writings on the topic.
The initiative, aimed primarily at all those working in schools and education at all levels, but also at students of all levels, will take place in the CDT room (Largo Barale 1).
Thanks to the patronage of the Historical Institute of the Resistance and Contemporary Society in the province of Cuneo, participation in the event will count as a training activity for teachers.
Following an introduction by Lorenzo Giustolisi of USB Piemonte, speakers will include Sergio Tramma (editor of the volume, former professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Milan-Bicocca), Luigi Saragnese (member of the scientific committee of the Antonio Gramsci Piedmontese Institute Foundation), professor Franca Maltese, and Massimo Gabella of USB Scuola.
