FROM SHADOW TO LIGHT. The protection and rebirth of recovered heritage
A journey from the Carabinieri TPC's recovery to its rebirth through restoration, all the way to its museum enhancement. Experts and institutions meet to discuss how legality and scientific care can restore treasures stolen from our national identity to the community.
The conference explores the redemption of cultural heritage: from the darkness of illicit activity to its return to public enjoyment. Through a multidisciplinary, regional approach, the event analyzes the entire life cycle of a recovered work: the adrenaline of investigations, the rigor of prevention, the patience of restoration, and the emotion of exhibition. Recounting the rebirth of a work of art means experiencing firsthand the essence of the FAI's mission: to care for and monitor so that beauty remains a living resource for the future.
Speakers:
Major Ferdinando Angeletti (Carabinieri TPC): The Command and Crimes against Heritage.
Architect Lisa Accurti (ABAP Superintendent): Prevention and Community Involvement.
Architect Michela Cardinali (CCR La Venaria Reale): Restoration for a new future.
Architect Laura Gallo (Racconigi Castle): Enhancement and exhibition of rediscovered heritage.
