Connections Festival: Curtain Call
On Sunday, September 14th, at 9:00 PM, the Toselli Theater in Cuneo will host the show “Ciak, Sipario,” dedicated to film music, thanks to the collaboration with the Palcoscenico Association, now in its tenth edition.
Single ticket €10, only available at the Palcoscenico association. A portion of the proceeds will go to LILT.
This project was conceived in 2013, developed with the aim of raising awareness of the world of theater and film music in all its facets and diverse genres. This year, it is being presented for the first time as part of the CONNESIONI FESTIVAL!
CIAK SIPARIO aims to create a performance within a cinematic setting that encompasses multiple facets of entertainment—theater and music—all live, with a backdrop of scenes from major films projected on the big screen. The goal is to introduce and raise awareness of music and theater, particularly among young talents, through the medium of film.
Talented young people will perform live music on various instruments and recite excerpts from film scenes. A key collaboration with the Palcoscenico Association, with the participation of Alfredo Matera: piano, Luca Allievi: guitar, Nicola Campanella: percussion, Alfredo Matera: musical direction, Francesca Monte: theatrical direction, and Anna Petracca: general direction. Featuring the Raphosody Pop Choir.
The scenography will feature cinematic images and animated film clips that will scroll behind them, thus creating a whirlwind of visual and auditory sensations in the participating audience.
