DANCING DIVINE COMEDY
An ambitious attempt to engage with Dante's work, which in the 14th century shaped his vision of the afterlife. A vision so powerful that it has endured through the centuries and continues to influence our imagination today. The performance's goal is not to recount all the themes contained in the poem, but to explore some of its key themes. Just as the Divine Comedy depicted the medieval world in its wealth of ideas and reflected on moral judgment in the afterlife, the dancers turn their gaze to the contemporary world.
