On Saturday, November 29th, starting at 3:00 PM, "Colors from the World" will be held, a day dedicated to the encounter between cultures, the discovery of traditions, and the valorization of the multicultural richness that characterizes Cuneo and its province.
This is the final event of the "Migrant Rights" project, funded by the CRC Foundation as part of the experimental "Committed to Rights" call for proposals. The project involves the Municipality of Cuneo, along with the operational team that manages the .Meet hub, composed of the social cooperatives Fiordaliso, Orso, Emmanuele, and Momo, and the Spazio Mediazione & Intercultura Association, as well as several local foreign associations.
The project's central objective is intercultural dialogue, active participation, and the full inclusion of citizens of foreign origin in the social and cultural life of the area.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 29th at the Movicentro in Cuneo (Piazzale della Libertà 16), starting at 3:00 PM. The afternoon will begin with creative workshops for adults and children, an opportunity to experiment, play, and learn about different cultures through manual and artistic activities.
This will be followed, at 4:00 PM, by a parade of traditional costumes curated by local foreign associations, a visual journey through colors, fabrics, and symbols from around the world. At 5:00 PM, the Movicentro stage will host a dance performance, while at 6:00 PM, the audience will enjoy a performance by the "Barnaba" gospel choir, a moment of shared music. The day will conclude in a convivial atmosphere with a multiethnic aperitif starting at 7:00 PM.
"Colors from the World" was created as an opportunity for encounter, learning, and dialogue, with the aim of enhancing cultural diversity as a resource for growth and cohesion for the entire community.
Admission is free and open to all, and all citizens are invited to attend.
