ARTURO BRACHETTI – TADAA'! Variety Stories
What does variety show have to do with our way of life today? Variety shows are deeply rooted in our contemporary passions: they have made us laugh, dream, and reflect, helping us overcome crises, wars, and the postwar era. They
weren't just entertainment, but a common language that spread words, accents, songs, and sayings, helping us become Italian and shaping our taste, style, and humor. Even today, we follow habits
and rituals that come from there: rediscovering them means understanding where we came from and who we have become.
TADAA' is a new project, a theatrical narrative, in which Arturo Brachetti unleashes his show-telling spirit. On stage, he tells true stories from the world of entertainment, intertwining personal experiences and popular culture in a direct and engaging dialogue with the audience. It's not a dive into the past, but a way to embrace variety for the future, demonstrating the fruits it still bears today. More than a talk show and unlike a "Brachetti-style" show, it allows for a profound narrative built on anecdotes and a connection with the audience. With his new project, Brachetti is undertaking a cultural revival, demonstrating that the genre is more alive than ever.
Trunks, props, a piano, and a large screen provide the backdrop for Tadaà, where Arturo Brachetti leads the audience through 90 minutes of history and storytelling, accompanied by music that dialogues with the words.
With simple, never banal language, he transforms the show into theatrical communication, like a live Techetecheté. Stories, songs, characters, and images alternate at a lively pace, with famous arias
and contemporary pieces, in an hour and a half of theater accessible to all audiences and surprising for everyone.
