Based on the bestseller of the same name published by Paper First, Scanzi now stages the boundless pettiness of a government made up mostly of "runaways." Ninety minutes of (bitter) laughter, information, and indignation, starting with an analysis of Giorgia Meloni's political career and then mercilessly retracing the government's inconsistencies, the right's excessive criticisms, and the culpable evanescence of an extremely embarrassing ruling class. From Valditara's serial blunders to those of Sangiuliano, from the investigations into Santanché and Delmastro to Pozzolo's New Year's Eve "bang," from the unwitting comedian Gasparri to Vannacci's tragically obscurantist theses. From the memory of Paolo Borsellino (ignobly cited by these rulers who have nothing to do with him) to the songs of Gaber and Guccini (whom Meloni loves, but evidently understands nothing of).
