Astrid Lindgren and the strength of children. 80 years of Pippi Longstockings
From October 3, 2025, to April 26, 2026, the Cuneo Innovation Space, located at Via Roma 17, will host the exhibition "Astrid Lindgren and the Power of Children. 80 Years of Pippi Longstocking." The exhibition will be open Tuesday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Astrid Lindgren (1907-2002), a world-renowned Swedish writer and one of the most translated authors of all time, revolutionized children's literature with her iconic characters. In addition to her prolific literary output, Lindgren was a staunch activist for children's and animal rights, championing principles of social justice. The values she considered essential to children's development—love and reading—are at the heart of the exhibition. Through an exhibition that explores the experiences of the very young, the initiative aims to be an invitation to rediscover the beauty of childhood and the power of imagination.
The exhibition, promoted by CRC Innova, is conceived and curated by the cultural association CUADRI ETS in collaboration with The Astrid Lindgren Company. The exhibition is made possible thanks to the contribution of the CRC Foundation, with the support of Generali, ACDA, Bottero , and Tesi Square. The project saw the collaboration of the Swedish Embassy in Rome, Salani Editore, DeA Planeta, Paper Play , and received the patronage of the Piedmont Region, the Province of Cuneo, the City of Cuneo, and the Department of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Turin.
