OFFICINA SANTACHIARA – FALL REVIEW 2026

There are places that are built with walls, and others that truly begin to exist when people inhabit them: Officina Santachiara is becoming, day by day, one of these places. This is why we chose "The Time of Sowing" as the title for the new season: because sowing means having faith, making a gesture today while imagining what might grow tomorrow. It means tending the land, creating relationships, leaving space for something new to sprout. And sprouting can happen at any age.

From November to December, around thirty events will take place at Officina Santachiara: contemporary theater, dance, family shows, meetings between grandparents and grandchildren, and experiences for the very young. An entire community of different ages meets in one place, because we believe that theater shouldn't just speak to everyone, but create opportunities to be together, mingle, recognize one another, and be surprised.

We want to sow curiosity, wonder, insights, and connections. But above all, belonging: to foster
a curious, open, welcoming, and intergenerational community around Officina Santachiara, where everyone can feel at home and recognize this space as something even more personal. Because there's no age to sow and another to reap. In every season of life, we can discover a story, change a perspective, meet someone, and be moved by an emotion. We can continue to grow.

We don't know what fruits the seeds we entrust to these months will bear. But the best part of sowing is not yet knowing what will grow and, despite this, choosing to nurture it.
As the ancient proverb says, the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second-best time is now.
