Under the artistic direction of the Il Melarancio Company and the support of the Municipal Administration, this year's Un Teatro in Mezzo ai Libri (A Theatre in the Middle of Books) series will once again be inaugurated as part of the Cultura 0/6 Crescere con Cura (Culture 0-18 Growing with Care) project . The 0-18 Library will host audiences and companies , presenting four performances selected from the Italian scene of early childhood theatre.
The Accademia Perduta / Romagna Teatri company from Forlì will open the Festival on January 25th with the show " La Gallinella Rossa ." Created using the techniques of theatrical theater, puppets, and musical objects, it tells the story of a little hen who one day, scratching around for food, found some grains of wheat for her chicks. But instead of eating them, she had a brilliant idea... Ages 2 and up .
On February 1st, we will host actress Ketti Grunchi/Ensemble Teatro di Vicenza with the show "Wonder Me!" Designed for toddlers and very young children, it tells the story of an encounter between two people with few words but many gestures and glances. A show that leaves deep brushstrokes, brings countless spontaneous smiles to children, and ties even the "rebels" to it. "Wonder Me!" is a real space for the imagination, a relational, musical game, at times energetic, at times delicate and intimate, which concludes with the active involvement of children. Ages 2 and up.
On February 15th , the Compagnia Il Melarancio from Cuneo will be with us with "ABCD'Emozioni." A show where the two characters on stage meet, get to know each other, and explore each other. They play, without words, just music and body movements. From this intertwining, joy, curiosity, fear, anger, sadness, and loneliness arise: nuances and varying intensities to give value to each emotion, sharing it with the young audience. There are no good or bad emotions; each of us experiences them all throughout our lives. The important thing is to welcome them, recognize them, and let them flow, opening up and giving them space. "ABCD'Emozioni" is also a game within the show, guiding the music and dance in a continuous exchange and transformation. Suitable for ages 3 and up.
On February 22nd , the Schedia Teatro Company concludes the series with the show "Beyond." What would happen if, while playing alone at home, we ended up in Mom and Dad's closet? "Beyond" takes us to a forbidden, mysterious, and absolutely irresistible place! A place to explore and play, seeing the world from a child's perspective. Ages 3 and up.
All shows will be accompanied by a valuable bibliography on the topics addressed, so that adults and children alike can continue reading together, even beyond the theater.

The remaining 40 tickets can be purchased directly at the box office in the 0-18 Library (Via Santa Croce 6 – Cuneo) starting one hour before the performance.
