The Galimbertis: A Family Story
On the occasion of the national initiative “Domenica di Carta”, promoted to enhance the Italian archival and bibliographic heritage, the Casa Galimberti Museum opens its doors to a fascinating journey into the private and public historical memory of the Galimberti family.
On Sunday, October 12, visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in the thematic guided tours “The Galimbertis, a family story,” a narrative journey that intertwines the great history of Italy with the personal stories of one of the most significant families in the political and cultural life of Cuneo and the nation.
Through the consultation and display of original documents from the Galimberti family archive —letters, photographs, notes, correspondence, and memoirs—museum guides will lead the public through a lively, moving, and surprising narrative. This is a unique opportunity to discover not only the figure of Duccio Galimberti, but also the relational, political, and human world that characterized the family's life from the late 19th to the late 20th century.
The tour will offer previously unseen insights and curiosities about family and civil history, showcasing the richness and variety of materials preserved in theHouse's private archive.
