MEETINGS SUSPENDED
The show is a multicultural and dynamic experience, in which the allure of strings harmonizes with the powerful and emotional movement of Afro-contemporary dance, creating an unprecedented connection between Western classical music and the expressive power of Africa. At the heart of the performance is the dialogue between the Cavour String Quartet of the APM of Saluzzo, which brings the refinement of chamber music to the stage, and the musical incursions of Moussa Sanou, resulting in a refined and complex soundscape, combined with the energy of the extraordinary dancer and choreographer Gérard Diby. A powerful fusion, where African gestures and rhythmic energy intertwine with the notes of the strings. The result is a vibrant and dynamic show, a true cultural bridge that explores new harmonies and contrasts, demonstrating how classical tradition and African innovation can converge in a unique and exciting stage language.
The event is part of MULTICO – Multicolor Festival 2025, a cultural festival organized thanks to the valuable contributions of the CRC Foundation, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, and the Banca di Caraglio, with the support of CSV Società Solidale. The initiative also enjoys the patronage of the Municipalities of Cuneo and Borgo San Dalmazzo and involves numerous local and international partners.
