Sonadors + Daniela Mandrile

The Sonadors reinterpret the traditional music of the Vermenagna Valley and the Occitan region with a modern and engaging sound. The project stems from the evolution of the historic duo Dario & Manuel, who for over thirty years have been active in spreading Courenta and Balet music in Italy and France. Over time, the two musicians have expanded their artistic journey, creating a new group that enriches their repertoire with South American and Balkan influences, bridging tradition and innovation.

Daniela Mandrile, with over 40 years of experience and hundreds of courses under her belt, is among the first to codify the teaching method and initiate a research and dissemination program of Occitan dance. Beginning in the Occitan valleys, passing through Provence, Gascony, and the Basque-Occitan regions, she leads the audience during the concert on a dance-filled journey, revealing the secrets and traditions of the vast and rich heritage of Occitan dance.
