Solemn Procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

The Solemn Procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will begin at 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 12th, from the Church of the Confraternity of San Giacomo and San Sebastiano in the Mondovì district. Over 40 Italian and foreign Confraternities are expected to participate.
After the Liturgy of the Word, the Procession dedicated to the Queen of Mount Carmel will begin at approximately 9:00 PM. It will walk across a carpet of flowers through the Mondovì district, Via Roma, and Piazza Galimberti, where the procession will stop to be greeted by civil and religious authorities. As the Madonna del Carmine passes, rose petals will be thrown from the balconies and windows of the district, adorned with red drapes, and the procession will then, as is tradition, continue along the illuminated Via Roma.
