Prayers of Art | Magnificat

From May 8 to 17, 2026, the Days for the Promotion of Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage will return, a national initiative promoted by the National Office for Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI). This year's theme, "Resonances of Holiness, Through Devotions, Relics, and Testimonies of Faith," will feature the Diocese of Cuneo-Fossano with a rich calendar of events featuring sacred music, art, history, and family-friendly activities.

The initiative, which is part of a national framework coordinated by AMEI – Association of Italian Ecclesiastical Museums, AAE – Association of Ecclesiastical Archives, and ABEI – Association of Italian Ecclesiastical Librarians, aims to make ecclesiastical heritage a living and shared experience.

MAGNIFICAT
The Church of San Sebastiano will host the "Pacem in Terris" Interparish Choir for a spiritual and musical meditation featuring a performance of the Magnificat, the canticle of the Virgin Mary, one of the most beloved and celebrated in Christian tradition. A composition that has accompanied prayer and liturgy for centuries, it touches the soul with its simplicity and depth. The song thus rises as a testimony of faith and Marian devotion, transforming the church into a space of meditation, beauty, and encounter with the sacred.
