FONORAMA Sounds outside the circuits

FONORAMA is a festival dedicated to sound arts and experimental electronic music. Through live performances, innovative sound systems, and sound installations, the festival explores new forms of listening and the relationship between sound, space, and perception. This edition will take place at Officina Santachiara in Cuneo from May 15 to 17, 2026.
May 15 – Giuseppe de Benedittis / François J. Bonnet (Kassel Jaeger) – 9:00 PM
Performance in dialogue with Organo Motore, a sound diffusion system developed by Giuseppe de Benedittis with Nicola Facchini and inspired by the Acousmonium of the GRM in Paris. De Benedittis's performance opens the evening with a talk on the device, followed by an electroacoustic performance by François J. Bonnet (Kassel Jaeger), director of the GRM and a central figure in contemporary electronic music.
May 16 – Hélène Vogelsinger – 9:00 PM
Live performance by Hélène Vogelsinger, French composer and sound artist, on Organo Motore. Using modular synthesizers and an approach centered on listening and the relationship with space, she constructs ever-evolving sound environments, blending contemplation and timbral exploration.
May 17 – Riccardo La Foresta – 6:00 PM
Performance by Riccardo La Foresta with Drummophone, an aerophone instrument derived from the drum that expands the language of percussion towards microtonal and experimental forms, combining physical gesture and sonic construction.
