Music of Ireland and Scotland between the 16th and 18th Centuries: A musical journey through the ancient sounds of harp, bagpipe, and violin. The repertoire includes compositions from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, a period of extraordinary vitality for Irish and Scottish musical traditions. Among the most representative composers are the legendary Irish harpist Turlough O'Carolan, the last prophet of ancient Gaelic culture, and the Scottish fiddler Niel Gow, a key figure in Nordic folk music. These lands gave birth to arias of great expressive intensity: melodies of poignant sweetness, where melancholy becomes beauty, and dance pieces animated by an irresistible joy. The notes of the harp intertwine with the sounds of the bagpipes and violin, transporting the listener into a fascinating sonic universe, rich in emotion and poetry.
