One hundred years separate us from 1924, the year Mein Kampf was born . Eight years have passed since 2016, when Germany decided to allow its publication in bookstores again, believing that only knowledge could prevent a repeat of the catastrophe. Stefano Massini, after years of work cross-referencing the texts of all the Führer's rallies with the first draft of the manifesto dictated by the young Hitler in his Landsberg cell, brings to the stage this performance in which Mein Kampf emerges in all its disconcerting scope.
From the primacy of the race to the apotheosis of the leader, from the uncontrolled love of the masses to the fever for propaganda, in this river the entire scaffolding of National Socialism gradually takes shape, offered unfiltered by Massini not only with the obsessive, baroque and emphatic style of the original text, but above all in a millimetric theatrical study of the rhythms, tones and verbal thrusts of the German dictator.
