Modulations – June
Modulazioni, the early music festival that combines tradition and innovation, offers three evenings in June on the 18th, 19th, and 20th in Cuneo. The 2026 edition is called "Resounding," and three weekends—in February, June, and September—mark its pulse, opening musical paths dedicated primarily to the English repertoire, exploring unexplored paths and rediscoveries.
The Modulazioni program will continue in 2026 with further events on September 13th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.
The program for the three evenings in June includes:
THURSDAY, JUNE 18, at 9:00 PM | Monumental Complex of San Francesco, Cuneo
FALSE CONSONANCES OF MELANCHOLY. Music by N. Matteis, H. Purcell
FRIDAY, JUNE 19, at 9:00 PM | Church of San Sebastiano, Cuneo:
Musical Bridges Between Italy and Ireland, free admission.
SATURDAY, JUNE 20 at 9:00 PM | San Francesco Monumental Complex, Cuneo
TRANSALPINE MUSIC | Alfonso Ferrabosco and the Italian Madrigal in England. The program features some of Ferrabosco's sacred and secular music, a selection of madrigals by Italian composers from English collections, and some examples of madrigals by English composers inspired by Italian models. Tickets on sale here.
