The show tells the story of a man who made many bad choices in life and was cruelly beaten by fate, who hit rock bottom but then rose from there. The show is based on the podcast produced by RaiPlay Sound, which became a real sensation in 2022. Starting quietly, thanks to word of mouth, the podcast quickly gained an audience, reaching nearly 3 million listeners and winning the "Documentary" award at the 2023 Italian Podcast Awards.
