Casa Galimberti Museum: A Home of Art, Culture, and Freedom
On the occasion of the International Days of the Houses of Memory, the Casa Galimberti Museum is offering two sessions of thematic guided tours (at 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm) entitled 'A House: Art, Culture and Freedom': a unique and engaging experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the life and legacy of Duccio Galimberti, a national hero of the anti-fascist resistance.
The house, once the residence and professional office of the lawyer and his family, has been expertly restored to preserve the historical and cultural atmosphere of the era. The tour unfolds through the various rooms of the house, each of which tells a part of the hero's personal story, his family, and the historical period in which he lived. Situated in a context rich in art and culture, this home has witnessed significant events and extraordinary encounters, where personal stories intertwine with greater history, offering a unique perspective on the struggle for freedom.
