EXPLOSION OF FREEDOM. The wedge between regime, insurrection, and a new human dimension. A three-stage historical-cultural itinerary.

Explosion of Freedom: a FAI-style itinerary to rediscover Cuneo with new eyes, through the places that marked the transition from dictatorship to freedom. The itinerary unfolds in three symbolic moments:
– the “before”: the Palazzo Littorio (Casa del Fascio), headquarters of the regime, described by Professor Gigi Garelli and Alessandra Demichelis;
– the “during”: the “ex Barra di Ferro” building, where the SAP insurrection began on April 27, 1945. Professor Giovanni Cerutti will narrate its fervor;
– the “after”: the monument to the Resistance in the Parco della Resistenza. A bronze explosion designed by Umberto Mastroianni, whose artistic and civic significance will be analyzed by Professor Enrico Perotto and Roberto Audisio, Head of the FAI Delegation in Cuneo.
The event concludes at 4:00 PM with the "Liberation Ball," open to all, in collaboration with the Tango Indipendente ASD association—DJ Piermario Mameli—to transform memory into a collective celebration.
